When a good mate from Maryland came to me to discuss a custom art piece for him, I never imagined the idea was already in existence - in San Diego. He would go visit his brother there and use this 6’10” thruster to hit the waves. Already plastered with a bloody ‘Surfboards Australia’ sticker, I knew this is absolutely what we needed to bring to life and immortalize. I decided on the building style elevation concept, to showcase the stickers, the wear and the beautiful curves and detail of the surfboard.
